LU 68 Denver, CO - Calls going into Book 2 with some unfilled. Most jobs are 40 hours and consist of some commercial & industrial. Projects include light rail, school projects, powerhouse & work in Fort Collins. Powerhouse expected to hire another 30, Fort Collins job 30-40 & school project between 50-70 wiremen. LU 379 Charlotte, NC - Job calls going into book 2. Local contractors picking up work & data center is manning up with more calls expected. Apple data center expected to start soon & work looks to be good throughout the Summer.

LU 95 Joplin, MO -Local has open calls. Mercy Hospital project still putting a few out & the job is currently working 4-10's & an 8. Scrubber project has hired a few & more calls expected. New high school working 6-8's & dog food plant working 5-8's. Riverton powerhouse job scheduled for next year in late Spring/early summer.

LU 14 Eau Claire, WI Work is good & going thru book 2. La Crosse Train project ongoing with calls going unfilled. More work is expected over the next several months & MSHA training required on some calls. Work is mostly light commercial/industrial & most projects are working 40 hrs. State license required after April 1st, but a temp license is available.

LU 479 Beaumont, TX - Calls going into Book 2 with some standing calls at the present time. Refinery work is booming and large call for EXXON Mobile expected sometime in mid April. More shutdowns expected & work is expected to last for some time. Other work in the area includes hospital, commercial offices and FEMA dome project being done at several schools.

LU 477 San Bernadino, CA - Calls for Abengoa project starting to come in and going into Book 2. Generator project should start manning up soon. Cascade solar project is complete. Heinkley solar project is ongoing with a June completion date. MSHA certification required on mine project.

LU 584 Tulsa, OK - Book 1 is clear and calls have been going through Book 2. Google data center is expected to hire 50 by the end of the month and ramp up even more throughout March. Job is unofficially working 5-10's and an 8 and has a 5 to 6 year duration. Pipeline work in Osage County calls and wind farm project to start in March. Other work includes glass plants, Keystone pipeline, work at refinery and 3 powerhouses. Most calls prefer OSHA-10 as well as Code of Excellence, but Local is helping brothers that are in need of each. MAY OBTAIN AN APPRENTICE LICENSE AT HALL IN LEIU OF STATE LICENSE TO TAKE CALL.

LU 1579 Augusta, GA - Work is good and calls going into Book 2. Vogtle plant has an outage scheduled for March 16th. Other jobs in the area are MOX project, Salt Water Waste project and other local work. Unit 3 and 4 on the Bogtle plant expected to start manning up this Summer and hire between 500-600 wiremen.

LU 995 Baton Route, LA - Work is good and calls going into Book 2. Coal burner upgrades ongoing consisting of unit addition as well as heat trace job. Cajun powerhouse calls are paying $28.50. Other work includes a small hospital coming out of the ground and work at chemical plant.

LU 194 Shreveport, LA - Calls going into Book 2. Steel mill has started hiring and is going to have both day and night shifts. Other work includes apartment complexes, hospital addition, 2 new schools & work at the Air Force base. Most calls are 40 hours.

LU 275 Muskegon, MI - Powerhouse shutdown scheduled for mid-March & should last 6 to 8 weeks. Campbell powerhouse also adding a new bag house & is projected to need 80 to 100 men by June. Job is expected to last a couple of years. Another upgrade on Unit 1 scheduled for January of 2015 should take another 50.

LU 48 Portland, OR - Local has calls going unfilled. Various projects throughout the area including both commercial & industrial. Intel plant starting a tool up expected to last 6-8 months. Must have Oregon State license. For licensing info go to oregonlicensebcd.org

LU 639 San Luis Obispo, CA - 30-day nuke outage at Diablo Canyon expected to take 30-50. Upcoming solar project is supposed to take up to 200-250 wiremen and may not require the State license for this job.

LU 226 Topeka, KS - Calls for Jeffrey powerhouse expected to come in over the next several weeks for 4 to 6 week shutdown. Job anticipated to take 20-25 wiremen & should work some overtime. Bio research project in Manhattan, KS expected in the Spring.

LU 130 New Orleans, LA - Calls going into book 2 daily. Variety of ongoing projects obtained through market recovery with 19 different scales in the jurisdiction with some requiring city license, OSHA 10 or TWIC card. Usually putting wiremen straight to work if they have credentials & are able to work for the job rate. Work includes VA hospital, Steel Mill, UMC medical center, waste water treatment plants, grocery stores, schools & prison project. Call hall for details.

LU 613 Atlanta, GA - A few calls still going into book 2. Powerhouse in Rome, GA hiring for fixture replacement job complete but Bowen powerhouse expected to hire this year. Local is also having trouble filling lower wage calls ($23.72) for a pharmaceutical site.

LU 640 Phoenix, AZ - Calls still going into Book 2. Cascade project expected to hire a few more. Job currently has 400+ wiremen onsite. Intel has slowed down, but should ramp up again soon. Other local work is good throughout the area & consists of both commercial & industrial. Calls are mostly 40 hours.

LU 22 Omaha, NE - Sachs & Thompson have had layoffs, but have continued hiring VDV Techs for work locally & in Columbus. Miller has started hiring for the next phase of the data center and is expected to continue over the next several months. Other upcoming work includes a hospital, cancer research center, financial investment data center and other local work. MUST have Iowa State license or unclassified license and OSHA-10 within the last 5 years in hand to take referral. All other local calls require a Nebraska State license.

LU 917 Meridian, MS - Local work is good. Powerhouse calls still coming in with more expected. Job is paying $50/day per diem.

LU 498 Traverse City, MI - Lots of short calls coming in and a few long calls to oil fields. Local work mostly consists of small commercial, compression stations & paper mill. A lot of lower scale work expected to last throughout the winter ($20 - $20.28) for old state hospital remodel. Duration of 12-16 months on project with possibility of some overtime.

LU 347 Des Moines, IA - Calls have slowed a little but still going into Book 2. Facebook data center & Microsoft projects ongoing. Wind farm should man up this Spring but powerhouse has been pushed back to 2015. State license required on most projects, however a B license can be obtained through the City. VDV Techs needed as well. Call local for dteails

LU 428 Bakersfield, CA - Work is good. Several solar projects expected over the coming months for 80 to 100 mega watt jobs and a couple 220 mega watt solar jobs starting simultaneously. Projects are mostly 40 hours with sporadic overtime. Solar work should continue to the next three years. Most calls require a State license unless hired directly by a general contractor who has the option not to require.
