LU 716 Houston, TX - Work is booming & calls going unfilled. Projects include commercial jobx, hospitals, multi-story tower building, BP administrator building, multi-story downtown remodel, 42 story high end condos, parking garage & university stadium. There is also a 350 acre EXON project that includes a parking garage, data center & power distribution center. A few calls require Texas JW license, but most can get by with purchasing Apprentice license.
LU 95 Joplin, MO - Calls going into Book 2. Work looks good going into June. Projects include hospital, scrubber & school work.
LU 271 Wichita, KS - Paynecrest Electric starting to hire for ethanol plant in Hugeton. Expected to hire up to 60 over the next several weeks. Other projects include airport terminal, HLS building & various remodels downtown. Ding system is now in effect.
LU 265 Lincoln, NE - Calls going into book 2. Arena project currently working 5-10's. Other local work mostly 40 hours.
LU 1516 Jonesboro, AR- Work is good in the area with a few open calls for Steel Mill project which is currently working 5-10's. Hospital job is still looking for help as well- call local for details.
LU 22 Omaha, NE - Calls continue to come in for Google data center with more calls expected for both Miller & Sachs Electric. MUST have Iowa State license or unclassified license & OSHA-10 in hand to take referral. All other local calls require a Nebraska State license.
LU 520 Austin, TX - Work is booming in the area. Plenty of work for travelers with OT on a few projects. A few of these calls are yearlong projects. Work includes Apple job, Flextronics, University work, & water treatment plant. Standing calls at the present time.
LU 584 Tulsa, OK - Book 1 is clear. Google job expected to hire over 1000 before its completion. Refinery turn around ongoing as well as arc suppression job at powerhouse. Other work includes glass plants, Keystone pipeline work, wind farms, and several more powerhouses. MAY OBTAIN AN APPRENTICE LICENSE AT HALL IN LEIU OF STATE LICENSE TO TAKE CALL.
LU 415 Calls going into book 2. Powerhouse still hiring for shutdown work. These calls require a Wyoming State license & OSHA 10 within the last 3 years. Microsoft data center expecting more calls soon as well as hospital remodel & addition project. Those jobs wll require a State license.
LU 159 Madison, WI - Calls going into Book 2. A lot of work in the surrounding area with more coming. Projects include Epic Health Care Software, powerhouse scrubber, hospital, hotel & upgrades to Oscar Meyer plant. 400 travelers working currently with only half of project manpower hire to date.
LU 322 Casper, WY - Calls going into Book 2. Oil & gas projects throughout the area. Most calls pay per diem. Calls require a Wyoming State license or work permit obtained through the State.
LU 602 Amarillo, TX - Calls getting into Book 2 for cheese plant job. Other industrial projects expected throughout the spring into the summer months.
LU 714 Minot, ND - Calls have been going unfilled, while most calls require a state license or apprentice license, powerhouse calls do not.
LU 11 Los Angeles, CA - Phase 3 of solar project starting. Certified med voltage splicers needed. Several more solar projects expected to man up in the near future. Waving State license on solar calls. All others require State license. Projected to take on another 100. Most calls going into Book 2.

LU 332 San Jose, CA - Layoffs have caused book 1 numbers to increase & local hands taking most calls in the area. Look to around late June to see opportunities for book 2. Stadium job is ongoing with a lot of upcoming projects including Nvidia, Samsung, Likin, 2 hospitals & Google complex. Apple project still a year out.
LU 640 Phoenix, AZ - Next phase of Intel project is ongoing. Solar plant starting to wind down, but summer looks very promising. Upcoming projects include data center, hospitals & USAA headquarters.
LU 428 Bakersfield, CA -Work slowing starting to pick back up. Calls should be back to normal in a month or so with 4 or 5 smaller solar projects starting. Upcoming work includes Hospital project, Hydrogen plant in June/July & 650 mega-watt solar project in July/August. Most calls require California state license.
LU 639 San Luis Obispo, CA - Calls for Diablo canyo outage getting into Book 2. Solar projects should continue to hire as well.
LU 32 Lima, OH - Calls have slowed in the area, but expected to pick up again soon. Several jobs for Honda upcoming including work at both engine & transmission plants as well as continuing work at refinery. Chemical plant expansion scheduled for next year.
